Welcome to LifeinTECH. I'm Matt Bull and you have found your way to my personal blog which aims to provide insight, guides, tweaks and recommendations focused on technology.

I'm a Cisco certified IT professional working in the field of telecoms, specialising in the design and implementation of enterprise level solutions. As part of my role I get to work with most of the major IT companies and if I'm lucky, get a sneak peak at their latest technology (some of which I get to write about here).

Outside of work I obviously have a passion for new technology and gadgets and have been breaking apart (and piecing back together) technology for as long as I can remember. I am also a keen web developer primarily working with PHP, JavaScript and MySQL.

As you can probably tell from my blog I am a self-confessed Mac geek. I have been using a MacBook Pro (and PowerBook before it) as my primary computer since the early days of Mac OS X, but as a result of my work, also spend a lot of time switching between Windows and Unix-like operating systems. When I do drag myself away from technology I like to run, cycle, climb, row and play football.
