Welcome to LifeinTECH. I'm Matt Bull and you have found your way to my personal blog which aims to provide insight, guides, tweaks and recommendations focused on technology.

I'm a Cisco certified IT Architect working for a fortune 500 company. I have led a number of industry first deployments related to remote access and cloud security, presented as an industry expert for IDC and worked with the Leading Edge Forum. As part of my role I get to work with most of the major IT companies and if I'm lucky, get a sneak peak at their latest technology (some of which I get to write about at LifeinTECH).

Outside of work I obviously have a passion for new technology and gadgets and have been breaking apart (and attempting to piece back together) technology for as long as I can remember. I am also a keen web developer primarily working with PHP, JavaScript and MySQL.

As you can probably tell from my blog I am a self-confessed Mac geek. I have been using a MacBook Pro (and PowerBook before it) as my primary computer since the early days of Mac OS X, but as a result of my work, also spend a lot of time switching between Windows and Unix-like operating systems. If you are interested, check out the spec and some pictures of my current home setup.

When I do drag myself away from technology I like to gym, run, cycle, climb, row and play football.

If you would like to follow me, please feel free to do so on TwitterLinkedIn or just subscribe to the LifeinTECH RSS feed. Alternativly you can email me using the contact button above or at mswbull at gmail dot com.
