Windows 7 Desktop
The new Windows 7 default desktop. The build number (7000) can be seen in the bottom right hand corner.

Media Center
If you purchase Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate you will get Windows Media Center.

Control Panel
Thew new highly searchable control panel. The classic "icon" view is still available.

System Properties
System Properties. Very similar in design to Vista except the Windows Experience Rating now goes up to 7.9.

Superbar Menu
The new Start Menu or Superbar Menu as it is known. Glad to see Shut Down is back as the default option.

Superbar Menu Extended
The Superbar Menu extended options. Very handy addition for opening frequently used documents. (Not available on all applications).

Superbar Preview
The Superbar Preview. Looks great and shows applications in real time displaying live video etc.

Jump Lists
A new addition to the Superbar, Jump Lists. Fast and convenient access to frequently used documents, features and pinned items.

Paint, WordPad, Calculator
Paint and WordPad sporting their new Ribbon UI to match Office 2007. Calculator has also has some minor UI changes.

Show Desktop
Show desktop is now triggered by hovering over the transparent rectangle in the bottom right corner.

Internet Explorer 8
Internet Explorer 8 which will soon be available on existing Windows operating systems (XP, Vista). Very simular is style to Internet Explorer 7.
