Install OS X on an Asus P5W DH Deluxe

Print Article When Intel first released the Core 2 Duo (Conroe) the Asus P5W DH Deluxe (using an Intel 975X Chipset) was an overclockers dream.
With this board, a good chip, and a bit of luck you were able to push budget processors well beyond their default clock speed and gain incredible performance increases.
Another key advantage of this board is that with the correct BIOS configuration and the work completed by the hackintosh and osx86project communities, you can easily get a fully working version of OS X up and running.
First you will need a copy of OS X Leopard, if you don't already own one you can head over to Amazon and pick one up for around £80. Next checkout the install directions on the hackintosh and/or osx86project web sites, this may require you to download a patch for your copy of OS X. I have not linked to a specific article because the installation process often changes when new updates of OS X are released.
Finally you will need to make the following BIOS configuration changes:
