Level 10 is Alive!

In my previous article "The Future of PC Case Design" I wrote about a new concept PC case called Level 10 created by Thermaltake. The concept case sported a radical, slightly crazy design which was like nothing else on the market.

Due to the "concept" name I never actually expected to see this case in the wild, so I was pleasantly surprised when MaximumPC released their review of the production ready unit.

As you can see from the image below the case has gone through some minor aesthetic changes, however thankfully the core design still remains the same.

The Future of PC Case Design...

Ever since Cooler Master stopped making the ATC-201 I have been eagerly waiting for a PC case manufacturer to deliver a product that has both amazing looks and incredible design. Well finally I think we have it...

A prototype shown at CeBIT named "Level 10" was designed and created by a collaboration of BMW, DesignworksUSA and Thermaltake. No word yet as to if this slightly crazy, but amazing case design will ever see retail and even if it does you had better start saving as I think its safe to assume it will come at a premium.
