Notational Velocity - Note Taking Made Easy

When it got to the point that I could no longer see my monitor due to the number of sticky notes, I knew it was time to start the hunt for the perfect note taking application. After working through the usual suspects such as Evernote, Things and Anxiety I finally found what I was looking for.

When it comes to applications I like them to be easy to use, have an elegant non-cluttered interface with functionality that gets straight to the point. Introducing Notational Velocity for Mac, the ultimate note taking application that meets all my requirements.

Notational Velocity is incredibly easy to use. To create a new note you simply write the title in the top box and click enter, you can then write the body of the note in the content area at the bottom. However if you want to find an old note, you type in the same box at the top and like Spotlight all the notes with matching content will automatically be filtered in the middle section. The image below helps show the steps.

That's it, as simple as writing on a sticky note, only easier to find. Download Notational Velocity for free from notational.net.
